Where can I recycle?
Click here to check the EPA guidelines on common recyclables!
Please check with Advantage Recycling, Bryant Industries, Mervis Recycling, or (in some cases) Habitat for Humanity's ReStore. Not all items are accepted at every location so please research or call ahead.

HOW DO I FIND INFO ON local cleanups?
The best way is to attend our KVCB board meetings or follow us on Facebook.
HOW DO I SAFELY PICK UP LITTER?
Great question, the health and safety of our volunteers is our #1 priority.
+ Use good judgement, be extra careful along busy roads or rough terrain, don’t pick up litter after dark, and wear a safety vest if you have one.
+ We highly recommend wearing gloves (with a rubber coating) and if possible, use a litter picker.
+ Dress appropriately for the weather and area, if it is hot out make sure everyone stays hydrated and takes breaks.
+ Remember sunscreen or bug repellent, if needed.
- NEVER enter or cross private property without permission.
- NEVER pick up sharp or dangerous litter with your bare hands.
- Make sure any cigarette butts you put in your bag are fully extinguished.
- Also, be careful with any liquids in bottles, it’s always best to leave them closed.
